After a month of following the Assemblies of God July prayer guide for America we are returning to the Book of Genesis for a guide as we continue to pray for the land we love.

In this text Israel, or Jacob, had his son Joseph swear an oath not to bury him in Egypt. The hand placed beneath the thigh demonstrated a high level of commitment to the oath made. Pray that our leaders in America will challenge younger politicians to swear to uphold our constitution and all of our founding documents.
