We Are The People

Genesis 48:5-7 ⁵ And now your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine. ⁶ Your offspring whom you beget after them shall be yours; they will be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance. ⁷ But as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died beside me in the land of Canaan on the way, when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath; and I buried her there on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Jacob understood well the power of land possession and final resting places. Here we find our three prayer focus points today:

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that America will continue to be a place where private ownership of properties will always be protected.

Prayer Focus #2: Pray that in America we will always practice fair inheritance taxes and regulations.

Prayer Focus #3: Pray that final resting places will continue to be places where people are respected, especially in military and church cemeteries.
