Sunday August 17, 2025 “Blessings Imparted”

Genesis 48:13-14 And Joseph took them both, Ephraim with his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh with his left hand toward Israel’s right hand and brought them near him. 14 Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands knowingly, for Manasseh was the firstborn.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your investment in the “We Are the People” movement that is helping to bring America back to God. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Joseph was impartial toward His sons, but he did honor the status of the two boys. His actions bring us to our three prayer points this evening:

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that as Joseph brought his two sons to his father – that America will bring her sons to the Lord regardless of their giftedness for His blessing that brings the best out of each person.

Prayer Focus #2: When Joseph brought his two sons without showing partiality Israel (Jacob) stretched his hands out in blessing according to the custom of the day – there was a double blessing of the first-born. In God’s kingdom today there are no favorites, so pray that a double blessing of the Holy Spirit be upon your children and grandchildren.

Prayer Focus #3: As Jacob seemed to know what special blessing was needed and bestowed upon each child, pray that we will receive wisdom to pray a blessing over our grandchildren that will be in agreement with God’s will and purpose.
