Jacob made it clear that the blessing he conferred upon Joseph’s sons was in the name and authority of his father’s God. In today’s world there is a temptation to bless in other than Jesus’ name which really has no power. Pray that unashamedly Christians will proclaim blessing and pray in Jesus’ name.
