Genesis 48:16 The Angel who has redeemed me from all evil, Bless the lads; Let my name be named upon them, And the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; And let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

Jacob the grandfather of Ephraim and Manasseh prayed that his name, his father’s and his grandfather’s name be upon the grandchildren. Jacob no doubt believed in generational blessings. Today, let us take time to remember the blessings of God upon those who came before us and pray those blessings upon our grandchildren and even to those who are yet to come.
