Sunday August 24, 2025 “Right Is Not Always Correct”

Genesis 48:17-19 Now when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, it displeased him; so he took hold of his father’s hand to remove it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head. 18 And Joseph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head.”

19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your investment in the “We Are the People” movement that is helping to bring America back to God. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Joseph thought his father was not correct in his choice of the best blessing with his right hand upon the second born to Joseph because his father was old and his eyesight was failing. Let us agree on three prayer focus points tonight.

Prayer Focus #1: Joseph had good eyesight, but his father Jacob had perfect spiritual insight. Pray that God will bless us with correct insight concerning our children and grandchildren and His purpose for their lives so our world will be blessed through them.

Prayer Focus #2: Joseph had to come to the place where he had to let go of the dreams he had for his first born. Pray that energies are invested properly in children and grandchildren according to God’s will.

Prayer Focus #3: The younger would become the greater of Joseph’s two sons. Pray that America’s leaders will have wisdom concerning those God will have us bless.
