We Are The People

Genesis 49:8 ““Zebulun shall dwell by the haven of the sea; He shall become a haven for ships, And his border shall adjoin Sidon. ¹⁴ “Issachar is a strong donkey, Lying down between two burdens; ¹⁵ He saw that rest was good, And that the land was pleasant; He bowed his shoulder to bear a burden, And became a band of slaves.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Tonight we look at what Jacob had to say about Zebulun and Issachar.

Prayer Focus #1: Zebulun would be a haven (a place of rest) for others within his boundaries. Pray that America will have clearly defined ways for people to reside in our country and that people coming to America will desire to be here lawfully so they might do the right thing in becoming law-abiding, productive members of our society.

Prayer Focus #2: Issachar was strong and not afraid of hard work. Pray that our younger generations will be taught strong work ethics at home and church.

Prayer Focus #3: Although not mentioned here, Issachar the Bible tells us knew the signs of the times and was able to guide Israel in making decisions that would protect and provide for their people. Pray that God will raise up many sons and daughters across America who will lead God’s people in righteousness and truth.
