We Are The People

Genesis 49:22-23 “Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a well; His branches run over the wall. ²³ The archers have bitterly grieved him, Shot at him and hated him.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Joseph who is a type of Jesus Christ was destined for greatness, and he was, to the saving of his family during a famine. Let us pray tonight according to three focus points we can gather from these verses, and I encourage you to check out the next couple of days on the wearethepeople.me site where we will pray together according to Genesis 49:24-26

Prayer Focus #1: Joseph was fruitful because he was near a well where there would be plenty of water that enabled him to be fruitful. Pray that our leaders in America will “plant themselves” near those spirit-filled believers that will influences them to lead in a way that will bring America to the place of social and financial fruitfulness once again.

Prayer Focus #2: As Jacob spoke of Joseph’s branches that ran over the wall so others could see and follow his fruitfulness – which his family did in a famine – pray that other countries will follow our refined by the Spirit example.

Prayer Focus #3: The archers (enemies) attempted to do Joseph in, pray that our special law enforcement officers will do the best they can to protect our leaders from the assassin’s bow.
