We Are The People

Genesis 50:22-23 So Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he and his father’s household. And Joseph lived one hundred and ten years. ²³ Joseph saw Ephraim’s children to the third generation. The children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were also brought up on Joseph’s knees.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Joseph provided a place for his family in Egypt, and he influenced the future generations.

Prayer Focus #1: Joseph had such respect for his father, and he made provision for his brothers and their families in Egypt. Pray that our leaders will have wisdom in making decisions in who can find a home in America and how that can become a reality under the law.

Prayer Focus #2: Joseph lived one hundred and ten years. Surely, he lived according to what we read in what the Psalmist wrote in the 91^st Psalm about having long life. Pray that we all will pursue that pathway to a long life and salvation.

Prayer Focus #3: Joseph not only lived a long life, but he also got to see and invest in generations to come. Pray that our righteous leaders in America will value the privilege of investing in future generations and legislate or make decisions that will impact positively those who will lead in the future.
