Sunday December 7, 2025 “From Ordinary to Extraordinary”

Exodus 3:3-5 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your investment in the “We Are the People” movement that is helping to bring America back to God. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Moses was about to move on from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Let us take a look at these verses and find three prayer points to agree on tonight.

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that in the busyness of this holiday season we will be sensitive to God-moments that might just change people’s lives if we act upon what we see.

Prayer Focus #2: When God saw that Moses turned aside to see the ordinary – a bush flame due to heat and wind, the Lord began to speak to Moses. Pray that people will listen to the still small voice speaking even in ordinary that God might then reveal the extraordinary potential in the mundane things.

Prayer Focus #3: From walking around on a mountain to treading on holy ground is what Moses experienced. Pray that we will see the potential of ordinary ground in life becoming holy as we follow God’s lead in life.
