We Are The People

Exodus 3:8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. During this wonder-filled season, we celebrate when God came down to dwell among His people. Tonight, we will pray according to three focus points found in this text.

Prayer Focus #1: As we celebrate this holy season when God came down to save, let us pray for the Holy Spirit to come down once again to empower believers to share the story of Jesus.

Prayer Focus #2: The Lord came down to deliver His people from Egypt. Egypt is a type of sin and the bondage of sin. Pray that God’s people in America will have a fresh revelation of the purity of Christ and the reason He came. 1 John 3:8  tells us that reason was to “destroy all the works of the devil.” So be free in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Focus #3: The Lord takes us to a good and large land filled with milk and honey. Pray that our economy in America will once again prosper and that God’s people will benefit from that and use their resources to spread the good news of the Gospel.
