We Are The People

Exodus 3:14-15  And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” ¹⁵ Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your investment in the “We Are the People” movement that is helping to bring America back to God. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

God revealed Himself to Moses who faithfully followed God’s call. Let’s pray tonight according to three prayer focus points using these verses as a guide.

Prayer Focus #1: Not I was or will be – “I Am” is God’s response to Moses. Pray that as we enter a new year that God’s people in America will see Him the Lord as the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God will then be an ever-present help.

Prayer Focus #2: Pray for the church in America to see itself as being children of faith as our forefathers saw themselves in their struggle for freedom. We are “free indeed.”

Prayer Focus #3: As God told Moses my Name is a memorial to all generations – let us pray that America remains a nation under the God of the Bible.
