We Are The People

The book of Job in the Bible describes tremendous loss without cause. In the end God restored all of Job’s losses but early in the book, Job blessed the Lord despite his losses. Job’s wife on the other hand told Job, “Curse God and die.”

   Today our nation suffers from many problems – wild fires, floods, and storms.  Let us lift in prayer and encouragement our friends from coast to coast who are suffering from losses – literal or figurative, that they not turn their back on God.  Turning our face toward the Lord in trouble releases blessings from heaven.  Job received double blessing from his trouble keeping his heart fixed on God’s goodness.   Dream big dreams for your future. Do not lose sight of the loving kindness of the Lord.
