We Are The People

Neh 9:29 “And testified against them, That You might bring them back to Your law. Yet they acted proudly, And did not heed Your commandments,
But sinned against Your judgments, ‘Which if a man does, he shall live by them.’
And they shrugged their shoulders, Stiffened their necks, And would not hear.”

    Pride hardens hearts to the point where people stiffen their necks and refuse correction. In Nehemiah’s day, God was attempting to help people live the best life they possibly could by listening to His word and obeying its truth. Today we must speak to the lives of people who are ignorant of God’s truth about life.
Pray in agreement today that true believers speak the truth in love to friend, neighbor and stranger concerning how we must live to please God and experience His blessing upon our land. We must be as bold about God’s Word as those who disregard it and have brought our nation to the lowest ebb ever morally and spiritually. Tomorrow is Pentecost, let us pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit for all believers.
