Saturday September 20, 2014 “Pray for Us”

1 Samuel 7:7-9 “Now when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel had gathered together at Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard of it, they were afraid of the Philistines. 8 So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.” 9 And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the LORD. Then Samuel cried out to the LORD for Israel, and the LORD answered him. “
As in the days of Samuel there seems to be an attack on God’s people in America from every side: Erosion of family values and Biblical world view, babies being killed by their parents, the rising tide of evil groups world-wide like ISIS, financial chaos, the health care debacle and forced coverage of unbiblical procedures and pharmaceuticals, etc.
Pray today in agreement that Christians not give place to fear as ancient Israel did and that holy men and women of God rise up in powerful intercession before God and that there be a strong assurance among believers that God is hearing and will bring an answer as He rises up as “the Mighty One of Israel.”
