Monday November 24, 2014 “Our Sacrifice, God’s Fire”

2 Chronicles 29:32-33  “And the number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord. 33 The consecrated things were six hundred bulls and three thousand sheep.”
The greater the sacrifice, the greater the impact.  A person once said, “Our sacrifice is God’s fire.”  Revival fires will break out as God’s people rearrange their priorities to sacrifice for those things that are eternal instead of those things that only benefit the temporal life.  God’s people in Hezekiah’s day were not only called to such living – they obeyed.
I encourage you to pray that the eternal things we bless God for such as salvation and heaven will be so real to us that we will see a dramatic shift in the way we invest our time and resources in bringing America back to God one person at a time.  We must obey God’s call to national spiritual stewardship in our day.
