We Are The People

Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.

Our sin puts us in God’s debt since we owe Him total obedience as His children. In Jesus, the world saw God dispensing grace and forgiveness freely to all who asked. Like bread we spoke of yesterday, God’s forgiveness received and extended is a daily spiritual discipline allowing us to expose our spirit man to the Holy Spirit who reveals sin and convicts us so we can confess sin and repent.
Jesus teaches us in this prayer that we must forgive to receive forgiveness.
Pray today that we have short accounts with God and man as far as sin is concerned so our hearts are clear. This will allow us to judge righteously in life and approach God boldly in prayer.
