We Are The People

Matthew 5:3 “³ “Blessed are the poor in spirit,     For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Blessed are those who recognize their need for God.  Luke 18:9-14 provides a perfect illustration for us.  The Pharisee talked about his goodness and the failures of the tax collector.  The tax collector who could not raise his eyes to God reveals the “Poor in spirit” Jesus speaks of.

Pray that all Christians in America follow the tax collector in repentance and godly sorrow over our personal and national sins and failures.
