We Are The People

Zechariah 4:10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see
The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD,
Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”

    In a world where wow and pow receive all the attention, God tells us to not look down upon small things. Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like a seed, a child and many other small metaphors.
Today let us pray that God’s people see the small things that they can do to make our nation a better place to live. A small act of kindness, a timely word spoken can change a person’s life and subsequently a family, a community and our nation , even our world.
