We Are The People

Zechariah 7:7 “⁷ Should you not have obeyed the words which the Lord proclaimed through the former prophets when Jerusalem and the cities around it were inhabited and prosperous, and the South and the Lowland were inhabited?”

God was reminding His people that they had been spoken to previously by prophets he had sent.  The people were not obedient.  America has had many prophetic words of warning but through disobedience they find themselves in a place that is foreign to them.  God says, “Should have listened.”

Pray in agreement today that God’s people will not only listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit that warns us of those things that are accepted as social norms yet they are dangerous and those things from the past that the Holy Spirit reminds us of as being destructive will be rejected by our peers who seem oblivious to the dangers.
