We Are The People

Zechariah 7:13 Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,” says the LORD of hosts.

v.13 sounds like child play – “You don’t listen, I won’t talk to you.’ But this is God speaking to His people. God is not “playing around”. He is establishing a spiritual truth in this verse. If we want to play deaf, the Lord will cease to speak to us.
Pray today that God will help us understand this truth and help us have ears to hear what God is speaking to us in this critical period of American history. This is not “childplay”, this is a matter of spiritual warfare. Every day it seems that there are new battle lines drawn by people who are either void of spiritual knowledge or they despise the word of the Lord due to ignorance or rebellion.
We must have open communication with Jesus to hear His voice and use His revelation to us as “the sword of the Spirit” to vanquish the enemies of good or persuade them with irresistible words.
