We Are The People

Zechariah 8:17 “¹⁷ Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor;
And do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,’ says the Lord.”

God hates when you think evil against your neighbor.  The reason for that is every human being is created in the image and likeness of God.  So if we think evil of our neighbor instead of loving him as the Bible says we are refusing to see that person in the light of who he can become as the love of Jesus reveals the beauty of being created in the image and likeness of God in a person marred and battered because of sin.

Pray that believers find the strength in the Lord to love their neighbor instead of thinking evil of him – thus fulfilling the second great commandment.
