Friday February 19, 2016 “No Pity from the Lord”

Zechariah 11:6 “For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land,” says the Lord. “But indeed I will give everyone into his neighbor’s hand and into the hand of his king. They shall attack the land, and I will not deliver them from their hand.”
Because God saw the heart of the shepherds and the flock darkened and only concerned with selfish desires, He chooses not to extend pity to the land.  Pride turns the heart of God away from His people who do not admit that they need Him.  However, when Israel cried out to the Lord in their captivity in Egypt God came down with a great deliverance.  Pray that God’s people will cry out against the idol shepherds in America and visit us with a mighty hand of deliverance once again.
