Wednesday June 29, 2016 ”Praising in the Dark”

Acts 16:25 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
Yesterday we focused on prayer in a midnight hour. Today our focus is on praise. Praise is like saying thanks before a situation changes. Praise brings the presence of God into the midst of His people according to Psalms 22:3.
Let us pray for a spirit of praise among God’s people. There are so many people who have lost their song and because of that they have missed the blessings of the Lord. In 2 Chronicles 2 King Jehosaphat of Judah follows the word of the Lord to sing praises to God as a weapon in the face of their enemy. The result was that God fought the battle for them and the children of God received a great blessing of substance from the battlefield. God does not change so praise the Lord people.
