Mark 9:38 38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”
With the “topsy-turvey” summer we are experiencing with national tensions, terrorism, congressional hearings and the upcoming presidential election, the church must be active and mobilized to bring the answer to all of our national ills. That answer is Jesus Christ.
Pray today that the Lord will inspire us all to meet the challenge we face with the Gospel that alone can bring about Godly peace and unity based upon transformed hearts through the love of God.
Please pray for the situation in Baton Rouge and comfort for the families of the victims. Also pray for the safety of the people at the Republican Convention.
