We Are The People

1 Peter 2:9 ⁹ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Priests in the Hebrew Scriptures were those who interceded to God for the people of the land.  Samuel, a Prophetic Priest told Israel, “God forbid that I should sin in ceasing to pray for you.”  Let us pray together this day that God’s people in America take the ministry of prayer seriously like Samuel did in his generation.
