We Are The People

1 Peter 2:9 ⁹ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

In context a holy nation means the reason you exist.   The purpose God has for you.  To be set apart for the Lord.

As it was for ancient Israel, so it is with America today. On the surface it does not appear that we are worthy to be called a holy nation.  However, at our core, which we are as defined by our founding documents, it is clearly seen that we are a holy nation set apart by God in these last days.

Let us pray this day as we are nearing the “home stretch” of the elections that will shape our future that Americans will once again become familiar with who we are as a people by reading our founding papers and accurate historical records that reveal the hand of God upon our country.
