We Are The People

Genesis 35:4 So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods which were in their hands, and the earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the terebinth tree which was by Shechem.

     Jacob’s family and company with him obeyed Jacob and released the foreign “gods” and earrings to the man of God.  As long as the people held on to past symbols of safety and ownership God could not bless them as He wished.

     In Acts, Chapter 19  –  the Apostle Paul had the people of Ephesus do this with their “magic” books.  The result was the Word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

     PRAY that Christians will be willing to dispose of those things that enslave people to demonic powers and patterns of the fleshly man that hinders the work of God in and through their life.
