Genesis 35:8 ⁸ Now Deborah, Rebekah’s nurse, died, and she was buried below Bethel under the terebinth tree. So the name of it was called Allon Bachuth.

Allon Bachuth in the Hebrew means ‘Terebinth’ or ‘tree of weeping’.  The Apostle Paul said that godly sorrow leads to repentance.

As our nation seeks change that will turn our hearts toward God and away from our foolish frivolity let us remember that true repentance involves godly sorrow over the moral errors we have made and return to God and His kingdom ways.  Please pray that there be a spirit of true repentance that will begin in the church for our national sins against God and humanity.
