Tuesday April 11, 2017 “Oxen”

1 Kings 7:28-29 28 And this was the design of the carts: They had panels, and the panels were between frames; 29 on the panels that were between the frames were lions, oxen, and cherubim. And on the frames was a pedestal on top. Below the lions and oxen were wreaths of plaited work.
The stands that held the “bowls” of cleansing had decorative images.  Yesterday we prayed about how the image of lions relates to the cleansing of our nation.  Today let’s join our hearts in prayer concerning the images of oxen.  Oxen are bearers of burdens.
Pray that leaders of our nation will recognize the many burdens our citizens carry and pass legislation that will lift the burdens and make way for a better future for all to enjoy.
