Thursday June 22, 2017 “Forgiveness”

1 Kings 8:33-34 33 “When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and when they turn back to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication to You in this temple, 34 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.”
“Forgive them.”  At times we can desire mercy and forgiveness and restoration for ourselves and those we care about but we don’t extend the same care toward those outside of our “love circles”.
Pray today that our hearts will extend forgiveness and love to others as we have received the same from God.  Nothing touches people like God’s people turning to those who have erred with the hand of fellowship and acceptance.
