Saturday December 23, 2017 “A Servant will be King”
1 Kings 11:11 11 Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.
The Kingdom would not only be taken from Solomon, but it would also be given to his servant. This would be a great insult to the King. The Bible tells us that promotion comes from the Lord. God can also demote whom He wishes and He can put anyone He wishes in place of those who lead.
Pray that our leaders understand that God placed them where they are and He can give their position to one who is a servant if they fail to keep their hearts fixed on God.
