We Are The People

1 Kings 13:18 ¹⁸ He said to him, “I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” (He was lying to him.)

We are told to try the spirit to see if the motive behind what is being said is the truth.  Pray that our elected officials will not only check out the advice of others but they will also in prayer find agreement with the will of God before acting. It was good enough for President Washington and Lincoln to do so – it is also good for twenty-first century leaders.
