We Are The People

1 Kings 14:9 but you have done more evil than all who were before you, for you have gone and made for yourself other gods and molded images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back.

King Jeroboam was good at doing evil. He made other gods and made images that he and God’s people bowed down to. God despises idolatry. The Apostle Paul wrote, “covetousness is like idolatry.” Pray that our leaders in church and in government will be satisfied serving where they are and what they are doing. Again Paul said, “godliness with contentment is great gain. A covetous man is always unsettled in spirit and distracted by praise of men.”
