We Are The People

1 Kings 15:11-13 Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did his father David. And he banished the perverted persons from the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. Also he removed Maachah his grandmother from being queen mother, because she had made an obscene image of Asherah. And Asa cut down her obscene image and burned it by the Brook Kidron. 

Asa removed Maachah his grandmother from being queen mother. Jesus said we must “hate” or love less mother, brother and sister and love Him more. Pray that there will be righteous standards upheld by all of those who serve as elected officials in America regardless of pressure by family or friends. Also pray that we have leaders who are respectful of others and don’t show favoritism because of their own personal affinities.
