1 Kings 18:27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 

The Bible tells us that God never slumbers nor sleeps. Elijah tells the priests that Baal might be taking a snooze. Praise God today for the fact that we have a 24/7 God we serve who is always listening to the prayers of the righteous.
