We Are The People

Genesis 33:19-20 “¹⁹ And he bought the parcel of ^[a]land, where he had pitched his tent, from the children of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for one hundred pieces of money. ²⁰ Then he erected an altar there and called it El^[b] Elohe Israel.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm using the focus point listed below as a guide. Jacob purchased land and now he would have “a place of his own.” Let us pray tonight according to these scriptures:

Prayer Focus #1: Jacob purchased land. He paid 100 pieces of money. Pray that there will be some improvement in our economy that will allow first – time buyers to purchase their own homes. This always results in people having a feeling of ownership and enables them to feel the weight of taxes and unnecessary laws and regulations on homeowners. This will result in more responsible citizenship.

Prayer Focus #2: Having land, Jacob then set up his tent, signifying he was planning to stay. He “put down roots.” Pray that the younger generation in America will desire a satisfaction of where they are and become productive members of society.

Prayer Focus #3: Jacob then erected an altar to the God of Israel. Pray that all Americans will honor and thank God for all He has blessed us with. Gratitude opens the heavens above us to rain down future blessings upon us.
