We Are The People

The books of 2Kings and 2Chronicles in the Bible speak of Josiah who was king over God’s people beginning at the age of 8.  Josiah reigned as the Jews, the people , experienced a final surge of national independence and revival before the disintegration of the Southern Kingdom and the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 B.C.

   While Josiah was king, he ordered the Temple restored for worship, he renewed the public reading of God’s word which was found in the Temple, he removed idol worship from the land and he restored observance of the Passover Feast (a type of a communion service – remembering that God is Savior).

Pray that there be a generation of children who would become Josiah-like leaders among their peers today and agents of change for America in the future.
