We Are The People

Isaiah 58:11 The LORD will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

What great promises we find in this one verse of scripture. Isaiah first says, ‘the Lord will guide you.” Two days from now it will be 2015. A new year will be upon us with great opportunity to find and fulfill God’s will for the days ahead.
In this verse the Lord tells us that if we live according to the truths of previous verses He will direct our steps – that’s the bottom line.
Pray today that as believers the church will fulfill the call of God to live like we believe and then trust that He is guiding us continually in the new year and always. Pray that we be alert to opportunities to share Jesus with someone who may not know Him as Savior and Lord along the pathways of life God leads us on.
