2 Kings 9:34  And when he had gone in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “Go now, see to this accursed woman, and bury her, for she was a king’s daughter.”

Even though Jezebel was an accursed person, Jehu was civil.  He ordered that her remains be buried.  Pray that winners in Tuesday’s elections will be civil toward their political rivals.  The Lord would have them follow His word and leave any vengeance up to Him.  Always remember as Jezebel was the “daughter of a King” – all people are the crowning creation of  God that He wishes for none to perish, but that all will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
